the following standard rates are currently in place:
- Editing/Proofing Web page text (for page consisting of roughly 250–500 words)
- first Web page, template boilerplate and text: $100 each, maximum
- additional Web pages with same boilerplate but different text: $60 each, maximum
- Ghostwriting Web page text (with client notes, drafts, and guidance)
- boilerplate, sidebar text (consisting of roughly 75–150 words): $50, maximum
- text page (consisting of roughly 250–500 words): $120 each, maximum
- Keyword incorporation
- keyword research: $35 per hour; one-hour minimum
- working keywords into "naturally sounding" text: $15 per keyword, per use—
in addition to editing/proofing and ghostwriting fees
- Proofing html code: $75 per hour, one-hour minimum
- Design work with template
- base template pages: $100 each, maximum
- additional pages based on same template: $45 each, maximum
- additional or substituted art on same template: $30 each change, maximum
- Fitting artwork: $30 each configuration (cropping, adjusting size and resolution), maximum
- Uploading site to hosting service (through ftp or file manager)
- first upload: $50 total for site, maximum
- each subsequent upload to the same host: $30, maximum
- Consulting and assistance fee: $50 per hour, maximum; one-hour minimum
Prices do include
making changes, personalizing and tweaking templates, laying headings and running text into template, adjusting CSS text file as needed, testing all links, creating ALT tags, supplying page-specific meta data
Prices do not include
the cost of purchasing domain registrations, templates, artwork, hosting account, or any other incidental items

the-freelance-editor is the parent entity of the Web Page Editor.
